Three Things That Make You Unhappy
There are 3 things that make you unhappy.
The desire to always be in control, the need
to be approved, and the tendency to judge others.
You can’t control everything.
You are not God, worrying about things you have no control over is useless.
You can’t control other people’s choices. You CAN’T and shouldn’t force them to like what you like, believe what you believe.
You can’t control other people’s choices. You CAN’T and shouldn’t force them to like what you like, believe what you believe.
The only person you have control over is
yourself. The only thing you can control is how you respond.
It’s impossible to please everybody, even Jesus can’t.
Being neutral is hard, you are either black or
white. We should respect that.
Stick to your values and live a life of
integrity. What you say should be what you do.
If someone doesn’t like it, so be it. Stand
firm on your beliefs.
Don’t be concerned about how others define
you. Why should you attempt to please people who don’t care for you anyway?
Most of the time, they really don’t care that
you’re alive. Criticisms are usually careless.
Judging someone else makes you lose your opportunity
for growth.
Focus on the dirt of others, tendency is you
overlook yours.
Life is short. Don’t waste it trying to right
the wrongs of the one sitting beside you when you have so many yourself.
Learn, grow, improve, and maybe one day
someone will see how you live your life and become inspired of righting their
own wrongs. Your life is your message.
No matter how much fault you find in another,
it will not improve you.
What will improve you are your decisions and
actions to improve. Discipline.
Three solutions to counter these three things that
make you unhappy:
Can’t control everything? Trust God.
Can’t please everybody? Focus on pleasing
God.
Want to stop being judgmental? Humble self
before God.
