Blogging Hiatus
First of all, I'm sorry I wasn't able to update this blog for the past four weeks and three days. I actually have several blogs lined up to post (including the last two minimalist living tips), but I haven't had time to sit down and edit/optimize them for posting.
What can I say? It's really, really hard to be a freelance writer and ghostwriter. It has taken a lot of my time and, these days, a lot of my health as well. I had to work extended hours just to be able to reach my target monthly income, but I still come up short. What's worse is I haven't updated this blog and my other blog on a regular basis because of it. I also wasn't able to reach my goals regarding the status of my novel.
I've been sleeping late and getting up early since doing this gig, and I also haven't had time to do running, basketball, and lifting weights in the gym, something which I haven't experienced when I was still in my corporate job. Back then, work had a time limit: 8 am to 5 pm, then I can destress and relax afterwards. Right now, work has no limit. I feel like I'm working all the time, writing for other people's websites and blogs. I'm seriously considering going back to the corporate world.
Secondly, I'm sorry for the impromptu, unedited rant that I just wrote. It just feels good to sometimes share one's struggles and look vulnerable to everyone. You never know from whom the next great advice will come from.
Anyway, this is just a quick post to tell everyone that this blog is still alive, I am still alive, and I'm back to writing more posts about minimalism and living a simple life of purpose. Till my next post. Bye.
