You are the Sum of Your Choices
The best thing about this amazingly temporary life we live is the ability to make choices.
You and I, we both have this power.
You can make from anything whatever you wanted to.
You can make from anything whatever you wanted to.
If you want a life undefiled inside your comfort zone without any improvement or growth, you can.
If you want to explore and know your limits, live by faith, and discover your full potential, you can do that as well.
If you want to give your attention to every trouble, every comment, every insult that other people say about you, you can drag your way to living life waiting for something good to happen.
You can choose that.
If you want to focus on the things you have to do, the things that matter so that on your deathbed you may peacefully embrace the end, you can choose to do that as well.
Realize that we are making choices all the time
Even when we choose not to, we still made a choice, and that is to NOT make a choice.
It’s the most basic, most important thing in life: making choices, and on the grounds of it lie whether we stand up or fall down.
Unless you accept the full responsibility of this power, your life will always seem to be out of control.
We have been given this power to create our life through our own choices.
But if we think that external forces are responsible for our choices then we are giving away that power.
If you are too scared and you choose not to use this power and just allow other people to drive your life, you are like a leaf blown randomly in the wind.
Surely, there are just circumstances outside of your control.
But then again, using this power, you must choose to accept that or you will constantly be depressed.
It may seem that everything is chaotic, but in reality it is not.
The situation may not be in your hands, but you still can choose how to respond.
Life is actually a once-in-a-lifetime thing.
It’s your choice what to do with it or else waste the most wonderful possession you have had on earth.
Life is all about making choices.
The choices you make today, even the little ones, especially the seemingly insignificant ones, will surely have an effect on your future.
You are the sum of all the choices you make. Therefore, be very careful.
