God Hears Us

"As for me, I call to God, and the Lord saves me. Evening, morning and noon, I cry out in distress, and He hears my voice." Psalm 55:16-17
Prayer is talking to God personally. It is something that does not need a prepaid load or a cell signal to do.

God is always available for us every minute of every day, 24/7. Evening, morning, or noon, He is there when we need to talk to Him.

There is power in habitual prayer. This way, we are always in close contact with God Almighty. The presence of God gives us peace, calmness, and relief, especially during tough and troubling times like these.

The Bible says we can present our requests to God in every situation by talking to Him with a thankful attitude (Philippians 4:6-7). We can call upon God for all we need. We can take refuge in God for all we fear.

However, talking to God is not only about asking provisions and taking refuge. It's also about confessing sin and asking forgiveness. Things that keep our hearts humble before God.

It's one thing to know we are already forgiven for our every wrongdoing, past, present, and future, and another thing to acknowledge we're still making mistakes. The latter is about humility.

How great it is to know our God listens to us when we call Him. That He hears us and answers us, sometimes in ways we cannot even imagine.

It doesn't matter what time of the day: evening, morning, or noon. We don't need an appointment to come in His presence and dwell in it.
