How Are You?

Hello, dear readers! How are you?

I know it's been a while since I last wrote a post here in my website and I don't know if I have to apologize. That's the problem with being a minimalist, even writing in your own blog becomes minimized. :)

Me? I'm fine and happy, generally content about everything that's been happening in my life. Enjoying the simplicity brought by minimalism.

There are still stresses and challenges, but I see them as a necessary part of living as I get to use my God-given skills and abilities to solve them. Besides, they add color to an otherwise gray life.

With that, I would like to mention that most of my stresses and challenges come from erroneous decisions while others are from external sources. Knowing the difference between the two helps me weed out the things that I don't have to stress about and those things that are under my accountability.

It guides me to what I should focus into, solving problems one at a time, and making slow but steady progress on each one.

I'd like to share "What I'm Doing Now" inspired by this post from Zen Habits:

What I'm Doing Now

I'm in Olongapo City, Philippines, focusing on these things:
  • Being a husband and a dad - we are a family of four. We now have our own house. Small and simple, just the way we like it. :)
  • Working for a tire sales and vehicle repair shop inside the Subic Bay Freeport Zone. I'm the inventory officer, mainly in charge of online marketing and inventory.
  • Serving in a local church here in Olongapo City. The church is a megachurch with the main branch in Pasig City. I feel blessed and privileged to serve in the household of God.
  • Building Lego bricks toys with my daughter. We have a YouTube channel, Bricks Laboratory, with more than 1,000 subs. =)
  • Running an online music store business called Tribo Guitars.
  • Running an eBooks business called Blue Leaves EBooks.
  • Running a private music school called SweeTune Music Lessons.
  • Starting a new YouTube channel called Enkampt PH.
These are my priorities and I say no to everything else at the moment. Minimalism has helped me focus on living a life that highlights my life purpose and calling.

If my activities and priorities change, then I'll simply update this page.

Last update: September 3, 2022.
